Hyperlink from Cadduct

I'm importing a model from Autodesk Fabrication CADMEP 2013 (Cadduct as it was called before) into Navis Simulate 2013 and I have hyperlinks in my original CADMEP file that I want to be able to use in my Navis model - is this possible, and if so what do I need to set to be able to do it please.

Thanks in advance

Options (F12) -> Interface -> Links

I've never messed with the options under the Links menu before but it has a category for Hyperlink. This is probably what you're looking for.

If not, try:

Options (F12) -> Interface -> Quick Properties

Enable Show Quick Properties.

Quick Properties -> Definitions

Category: Hyperlinks (add both Name / URL)

Also check in the Category section for anything related to FABMEP and see if it's there. I'm not sure what category will display it.

Hi Peter-Stephens,

I doubt if Navisworks could identify the hyperlinks created by the orignal CAD file. but you could give it a try with Ixath's suggestions.

If none solved the question, you may have to create the corresponding hyperlinks of Navisworks with the information from the original CAD file.
