shape Fdo Connection

I am using Autocad MAp 2010 and VB.NET 2008

I have allready a fdo connection to a shape file.
I would like to know how I can read using VB.net the fields and values of the shape file (FEATURE properties)
The type of the object that cames using VB.net is ImpEntity.

Can somebody can give me some hints or to point me to some documentation?
