running a routine to 1 computer only

hi. is there any way to make a routine written in .NET run on one machine only? If its loaded on a machine, no other machine can load it at the same time. thanks!

If I was doing this, I would have the program check the System.Environment.MachineName and exit if it is not the designated computer.  You could do the same thing if it is meant for aa particular user:  check the System.Environment.UserName for the designated user.

Regards, Pete
