problem with opening file(s)

hi there, this is a bit of a double post but this particular issue is not related to my other post so bear with me:

I have attached the code that I use to recursively iterate through a folder and it's subfolders and try to open the file and closesave it.

the recursion works because when i take the code out that opens the file and closes it and simply replace it with a debug statement that prints out the file name, IT WORKS FINE.

However when i try to open the dwg file and simply save and close it, the following happens: it will open and close the FIRST file, then it will OPEN the second file, but it seems like the file never COMPLETELY opens since the code never executes the next line. NO ERRORs pop up. it just stops.

can anybody give me any insight why this is happening?
Thank you very much

please ignore. I have found out that there was a secondary macro written is lisp that was causing me problems. once disabled, everything started working
