copy entities from one drawing to other

Hi,

I am trying to copy entities from a drawing to current open drawing. When I do that, do I have to copy the layer information?

No, because the required API copies all dependent
objects as well as the ones you specify.

Make sure you WblockClone the entity (e.g. Database.WblockCloneObjects) - don't just make a shallow clone of the entity (e.g. DBObject.Clone).
