convet plt to tif

Does anyone know of a way to convert a plt into a tif . I need to do this
and make the tif file exactly as the plt is. Programmically is the best
option for me since there will be thousands of files. I am not opposed to
purchasing software to do this but would rather not. I have two software
packages already that can batch convert these files. I have a custom app
that I am writing that I am trying to do this with. I currently have
scviewer from software companions and Kip Request software. Any help would
be appreciated. Thanks

IIRC, "Hp2Design" and "ViewCompanion" can convert to TIFF
