Hi all,

I'm lost...

What do I have to do so this line of code works?

dim dbc as object = createobject("CAO.DbConnect.18")

Error message:

"Unhandled exception has occurred in a component in your application...

...

Cannot create ActiveX component"

As Reference I have "CAO 1.0 Type Library" but instead of a path it shows:

"<The system cannot find the reference specified>" 

The referenced file is "Program Files\Common Files\Autodesk Shared\cao16enu.tlb"

I don't have any cao18enu.tlb file if that is what is needed... 😞

Is there a way to reach the LinkTemplates and LabelTamplates whithout CAO.DbConnect?

I'm running Autocad 2011 64bit on a Win7 64bit  machine.
