VSE 2013 debugger

Any have success using visual  studio 2013 vb.net and AutoCAD 2014 win7/64

I get the following when I select the start debugging.

"In order to debug this project, add an executable project to this solution which references the library project. Set the executable project as the startup project."

Hi,

Not sure as i don`t use VSE, but I think that message refers to add the Autocad executable to the project, and set that exe as startup project, see this link third method:Debuggin

any idea why when I select , Debug, Start command

my dll is not rebuild with the changes.

I am sure in VBE 2010 it built my dll via the debug command and I simpley had to netload in AutoCAD

I cannot find where I need to set this in VSE2013

Hi,

I don't know if this work in Express, but in VS you have to go to Tools Menu->Options->Projects and Solutions->Build and Run and set your preferences there.

this is what I have for settings and it would seem that my dll should be build and saved in the bin\Debug\ folder.

But the only time this happens is if I select the build command.

OK I just figured it out.

Seem you have to uncheck the "Only build startup projects and dependencies on Run"

is this correct?
