Transparent command

I currently have an application written in C++ using ARX.
It works as a transparent command.

What I would like is to use VB.NET to rewrite and change this application, however I cannot find any information on transparent commands written in VB.NET

Is this at all possible?

Thanks in advance

[CommandMethod("MyCommand",CommandFlags.Transparent)]
