Set blockrefs in xrefs invisible and save state?

Is it possible to set blockreferences within xrefs invisible and preserve that state when the main drawing is reopened? (So the blockrefs remain invisible when the main drawing is re-opened) -I've already designed code to do the first portion (setting the blockrefs invisible), but I'm not sure what can be done, if anything, to save this state.

-Thanks in advance for your solutions,

Mike
