Property palette API work for .NET?

Hi,
I'm reading the Properties Palette API and just want confirm it is not possible in .NET?
if not, I have to change plan to create a custom palette myselft and make it kind of like Properties palette. so my question is, without any command running, select single/multiple object(line, pline...) in the drawing, how I can show the property of selected objects in my custom palette?
