Pointmonitor only working during selections

Hi,

Any idea if there is an AutoCAD setting somewhere which will restrict point monitor events to only fire off when a selection region is active?

This behaviour only happens on one PC, on all the others I get point monitor event whenever I move the mouse as I'd expect to.

Check help for COORDS system variable.

I have looked at that but thats not the cause. The cursor coordinate on the status bar are updating as normal. Its just I'm not getting any pointmonitor events unless a command is active on the problematic pc.

I'm quite baffled by this as it only happens on one PC and I cant reproduce the problem on any others. Im using AutoCAD 2010.

It's definelty an AutoCAD setting somewhere... If I load a different user profile from the options menu then it works ok. If only I could figure out what setting it was!

Good guess, but unfortunately not.

I've now resorted to manually comparing two exported profile .ARG files. It must be something fairly obscure.
