Open AutoCAD Application 2007?

Okay, i give. 
I'm trying to update some of out VB.net routines to use AutoCAD 2007. I've added
the COM reference to 2007 type library, but I can't even get AutoCAD 2007 to
open properly. When I run the code below, I just get a couple of pallets, but no
document window...

Any help would be
appreciated!
