Sorry for the OT but I'll use .NET API so... I'm near the point I can say: I got the most elements to build my application!
This application should do some actions on drawing's objects according to some application options given as input.
So the crazy idea I got is:
store on each object that needs some actions a set of xdata containing a sort of
IF 'condition'
THEN 'action list'
[ELSE 'action list']
The IF 'condition' will be evaluated according to the input options and may execute the 'action list'.
So I've to prepare a well designed User Interface for the drafter who will fill up the 'IF THEN ELSE' data on objects that need some actions. Then I've to develop the application which given some input options will iterate through each object and execute the requested actions.
(the main actions will be 'Hide' or 'Show' on 'Layers' objects)
Any clue/comment/concerns on this idea?
Any clue on how to store the 'condition' data?
Can I store the 'action list' in a way it can be easily executed by means of SendCommand or similar?
In which way?
