Insert Bitmap File as OLE Object as an Embedded with C# on AutoCAD 2010

Hi,

We want to import bitmap file as embedded on Autocad DWG drawing with programmatically [C#]. Is it possible. Bitmap file is a small barkod symbol. And manually is possible INSERTOBJ command. But we don' t have find any source .NET code resolution for this. There seems a OLE2FRAME class but i do not see any resolution.

Hi Mehmet,

It is not possible to create a OLE object throug API, but you can have a template drawing that has an ole object in it and insert it into another drawing. The path of the file can then be modified. There are several posts in this forum that have sample code for this.
