How to get Entity's original type.

Hi, all.
I have difficulty in getting an information about Entity's original type, for example, line, circle,text... etc.

Dim entity As Entity = (trans.GetObject(idarray(i), OpenMode.ForWrite, True))

Select Case GetType(Entity).ToString
Case "TEXT"
.
.
Case "Line"
.
How could I correct my code? Some help?
