Batch DXF->PDF

I need a mechanism to allow for a programmatic batch conversion from DXF to PDF, ideally something that operates fairly quickly.

Any resources?

Are you opening the DXF file in AutoCAD and want to
plot that to a PDF file or do you just want to print the contents of the DXF
file [which is nothing more than plain text] to a PDF file?
