If I only could understand why nobody wants to answer! What did I do wrong?
I just want a little information here. Please people, be friendly! Be

Hi there,
I know I am going to ask something that was probably asked several times
here. I've tried to search the NG about what I need and it seems that there
is a lot (too much?) of information, but I am not able to compile all this
stuff in order to decide what it takes and what I need.
I have a pretty fair knowledge in programming and customising AutoCAD using
AutoLISP, VisualLISP, VBA and VB. I understand what it is and how ObjectDBX
(or RealDWG), ActiveX and OOP work. I would like to start investing some
time in learning VB.net. In my company, we program and develop for AutoCAD
2005 and there is no chance to upgrade to 2007, but I would rather think
that we will make an update no sooner than AutoCAD 2008.
On my machine I have Windows XP Professional 2002 (SP2), AutoCAD 2005 and MS
VisualBasic 6.0. So what I would like to know is:
1) What do I need to install considering my PC configuration, in order to
be able to start learning and using VB.net ? Right now I need to be able to
work and to test under AutoCAD2005, even if we are going to move to another
version sooner or later.
2) Can you recommend some good, clear, concise, for dummies tutorials,
books, articles or materials?
3) Does somebody know some good web sites focused on my object of interest,
i.e. AutoCAD programming and developing through VB.net?
Thanks in advance,
Constantin
