A tool to offset objects

Please find attached tools I built to offset objects. The command calls two functions, one figures out which direction to offset and the other offsets the object and returns a DBObjectCollection.

Now please be aware that I am still learning .Net myself and I am sure that this code is not perfect nor is the most effecient. Therefore, I offer this as a sample with the intention of getting ones like Tony and others to critique so that we can all learn. Thanks.

BTW, some of the code used has been based upon code posted by GPaolo

Thank you so---- much,jmodglin.
I had been disappointed not to solve the problem of offset direction.
You coudn't know how happy I am.
God, bless you.
And I love you.

Hi. I didn't look at it too closely, but did notice
that it won't allow the user to escape out, since
it keeps retrying input until it gets a valid response.

Thanks Tony.

You are right - I did not spend much time on error trapping for this command. Thanks again for the input and ask that if you do get a chance to look at it closely let me know if there is anything else. If poor error trapping is the worst you find, I would be shocked.

I just posted an update to this code at my blog.

I am hoping people are still finding this function useful.
