problem with my model's uv

my model is the opposite of normal models for some reason. it is clear on the outside and has th texture on the inside. is there a way to inver the uv map so it will have the texture on the outside and not the inside

Maybe the normals are reversed on your model. Try selecting the model and in the Polygons menu go to Normals->Reverse and see if that fixes it.
