Ideas on how to approach a model.

Hey there...

I wanted to develop my modeling skills and so I decided to try and create a 3d model of a mouse.
The mouse is the Razer Nagga 2013 editon. ( This one >>> http://www.razerzone.com/gaming-mice/razer-naga )

I tried to get my hands on as many reference images as possible. I found a lot of random-angle images, but I only found a top and left/right ortographical images. I spent a few hours trying to model the mouse... but it just doesn't work. It has so much curves that its really hard to model it from just 2 views. I guess my main issue is that I cannot plan the way I should have my edge loops layed out.

Can someone give me some tips to improve my modelign process? Maybe I shouldn't use box-modeling? Any links to tutorials that cover material like this will also help me out a lot.

Check the attachments to see roughly how my model looks so far.
