My boss came to me with a max question and its been awhile since ive used max. he has a single diagonal line on the face of every solid in his model. I tried every fix i know and nothing worked.
then we found a site and the fix worked after reboot, for all of 5 minutes and the it went back.
Customise > Preferences > Viewports (tab) > Configure Driver > Display All Tiriangle Edges. Best guess as I no longer have Max 7 available. Best be logged in as Administrator because the file that option changes is in the installation folder (normally under Program Files) and "normal" users may not have write permission, the result being that the setting doesn't "stick".
