Beginner Question CV curve+Revolve

I am trying to model a bathtub using cv curves and the revolve tool. However, when I use revolve, my model seems to stretch way out instead of going where I want it to go. Am I missing something? How can I correct this? I attatched photos of what is happening.

The curve must be placed at the center of the grid and the pivot must be at the center as well.

On Windows hit the insert key to grab the Pivot and move it to begginning of the curve and center the object on the center grid.

Reset the tool and revolve.

After that you gonna have to use a lattice to deform the tub shape since it is alongated... and do an extrusion to add thickness to the walls.
