Filenames can't contain -?

This is a problem - every single filename we have has 2 - in it. Can this be addressed?

Are you meaning that the mockup file name can't contain '-' ?

When create a new mockup file in mockup 360, the file name only support letters, digits, underscores and space with the length of 24 charactors. Currently, it is as designed

If the status mentioned above is an issue for you, we could investigate how to support '-' in file name.

Thanks

Fred

Hi Cory,

Can you try this workflow again with the most recent update that has been pushed?  You should notice that "-" is now supported for filenames.

Would enjoy hearing how things go.

Cheers,

Joel

Hi Cory,

Sorry to hear that you are running into the BSOD issue.  Have you had a chance to apply the fix we have listed in the ReadMe for this issue?  If you have time below is the steps to take to fix the BSOD issue.  Shouldn't take more than a few minutes to accomplish this.  Look forward to hearing if the file name issue has been resolved for you.

- There is currently an open issue with the Microsoft “click-once” installation when run on the Windows 7 platform that may result in a blue screen during installation or updating Mockup 360. To resolve this install MS hotfix located at::http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2675806/en-us

Once you’ve installed the hot fix and restarted your computer follow the instruction below to reinstall mockup 360:

  1. Delete the Mockup 360 shortcuts located in both the desktop and ‘Autodesk’ folders under Windows Start Menu.
  2. Delete the files listed in the path below, whose names contain ‘mock’: C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Local\Apps\2.0
  3. Reinstall Mockup 360.

Thanks,
