create solids from surfaces

We use autopol for creating flat patterns. When use a standard shape from
autopol, the result is a surface. Can i convert the surface fast into a
solid, so i can modify the result from autopol in Mechanical desktop.

Please help me

Depending on whether it's a single or mulitiple surfaces, use
AMTHICKEN or AMSTITCH (under the Surface menu).

Thanks for responding so quickly. I've tried your sollusion, but it doesn't
work. Autopol creates blocks as output. After exploding i get multiple 3d
faces. Can i convert the 3d faces into a solid ?

Usually the way to do this is by using "AMSTITCH" with "Part" specified as
the output
type. Have you tried this?
