amthread display in pspace

ok here goes. draw a cube, drill a hole blind any depth just not through. drill a tapped hole (bigger in dia than the 1st) concentric to the first, drill it blind but not as deep as the first. create a drawing view and look at the thread detail, it goes all the way to the bottom of the first cylinder.............bug?? methinks it might be 🙂

Hi Steve,

Looks like I am not able to reproduce the problem
you are talking about. The thread appears fine for me( threads appear only for
the second hole that i create). It would be helpful if you could post a small
file that causes this behaviour for you.

Thank You,

Hmmm may be a bug, but if you uncheck full depth, and put in a value of 20 then it looks
right.

Hi Steve,

I am sorry but I am not able to open the .dat that
you have posted. I would appriciate it if you could post a .dwg file.
Thanks!

Raj

Just save it and then change the extension to dwg. It comes across as a dwg in my
newsreader. Not sure why the NG software does that to some files.

Kent,

Saving and changing the extension to dwg does not help. It does not convert
it to a dwg file. I am not sure as to why this is happening.

Raj.

Hi Steve,

Since I am not able to view the file that you have
posted, I have posted a drawing file based on your steps to repro. Please let me
know if I am missing something.

Thanks,

Thanks Kent and yes the flat end is the trouble maker. I have logged a
defect against this.
