UNDO NOT FIX ??????

Tell me that I hallucinate, they don't repair the undo in DEsktop2004DX.
They throw two SP and a new release and nobody notice that???

I need to do like 5 undo to remove the last command I did.

It's a known problem that requires significant changes to ACAD. Since 2004
and 2004 DX are based on the same ACAD it wasn't a problem that could be
fixed at this time. The workaround is to use the Undo/Redo buttons on the
toolbar.

The undo/redo toolbar buttons do the same thing. It is something that can be very time consuming if you have to go back a few steps.

Its not just a matter of making mistakes. I'm guessing that you have no need for the erase button either. Anyone with the ability to design knows that as the design progress's, one sees better, easier, and cheaper ways to produce parts. Therefore the undo option is a viable tool. But then again you have to have that ability to understand this. I have faith that ACAD will issue a SP for this.

This is the most important point of the discussion.
This is an AutoCad issue as stated my Mike Dickason.

The MDT group has to wait for the ACAD group to fix
their end of the problem first. Once that is completed then the MDT group can
issue a SP with the AutoCad fix for MDT's version of AutoCad and
will also include the MDT fix.

So begging and pleading with Mike to fix the
problem is not going to get us anywhere but more frustrated.

don't know if you guys have seen this but if you click on the
little arrow beside the undo icon it presents a list of commands that you have
issued. Using the mouse you can scroll down and undo to the point you want to
very easily.
