Trouble installing Mech Desktop 2006

Trying to install Mech Desktop 2006 and having issues.

 

I have installed Inventor 10 which is on Network License.  All is working fine.  I then try to install Mech Desktop 2006 and during the installation it is asking for Serial Number.  This is incorrect.  This should be on the same Network license as the inventor.

 

I have others installed in this same manner and all is working fine.  But when I am installing on new machines, the Mech Desktop is not seeing or asking for network license.

 

Help is appreciated.

Hi Tim,

 

Have you created a network deployment for Mechanical Desktop 2006?

 

To install a network copy of MDT 2006, the installation should run from a deployment.
