SP2a on MDT2004 DX?

Should SP2a be applied to MDT2004 DX that comes with Inventor 8?

I wouldn't think so based on what I have read here, but it comes up when I
run the "Communications Center".

Joe,

There is no service pack available for DX. I'm not sure why the
communications center is linking to the service pack for the 2004 release,
but ignore it for now. I've forwarded the message so someone will be
looking into it.

Joe,

Just to clarify, at the top of the communication center window is there a
message stating that your product is up to date, or is it saying there's an
update available for DX? On my system, the status at the top says the
product is up to date, but then under the product support information there
is an entry saying there is an update for 2004 customers.

Hi Mike,

Thanks. The screen shot shows the message at the top of the display
indicating the product is up-to-date. We are looking into this, but it
would be a bigger problem if the system was actually trying to apply SP2.
