Parts Can't be Ballooned

I localized an external subassembly but it will not allow me to balloon its
parts in any views created from the exploded scene. The parts show in the
BOM & I can balloon individual part views but not the parts in assembly.

Is there something I can do to enable the parts to be balloon-able?

This seems to happen frequently & is a big PITA.

Help...

There is a way to create a reference point to part or subassembly using:

ampartref

then select a point or [ block/copy/reference].

I think I had the same problem. I believe fixing it was as easy as setting
the sub-assembly active in the model space view. Then when I create my
views in paperspace I used the selection method of getting the parts for the
view.

Hope that made sense... and helped.

Have fun,
Dave

I tried that first thing but it did not help, unfortunately. I went ahead &
restructured the parts out of the Subasy, deleted the subasy & that allowed
me to balloon them.
