Mass Properties

If I put in a value for density with the assumption that I am working in lbs/in3, can I then assume that the mass specified is in lbs? This is the first time I'm using this feature in Mech. Desktop so I'm not sure how to read the results. Any help is appreciated.

I just put the value in as gm/cm^3... when it comes out, multiply by 0.03612
and that will convert the mass to lbs.

If you put the value in as correct units, and keep them consistent
throughout, I don't see why your method would not work.

Hope This Helps

I believe that would be lbm, assuming you are on earth, at its mean
diameter.
