Cannot create Polygon Strip with Quad Draw!

As far as retopolgizing with Quad Draw under the Modeling Toolkit, it works something like a dream. But! When I try to drag out a Polygon Strip, while hitting Control/Shift-Drag, nothing happens! Both if I'm snapped to a reference object or just the grid itself. 

I get nothing, nada, zilch! And I'm pretty sure I'm pressing the right buttons, according to this page. 

Any help would greatly appreciated!

I believe the help page needs updating. The new way to create quad strips is to hold down the TAB key.

TAB + LMB drags out the strip.

TAB + MMB changes the size.

Looks like you were looking at the 2014 version of the online help. Topic looks ok in the 2015 version! (Create quad strips with Quad Draw)
