How to remove Bonus Tools 2014 after uninstallation of Maya 2014?

I uninstalled Maya 2014 and installed 2015 yesterday; however, I failed to uninstall the bonus tools for 2014 before removing Maya 2014... and now I am unable to uninstall the tools as I get an error message saying...

"Autodesk Maya 2014 Bonus Tools requires that Autodesk Maya 2014 be installed on your system prior to installation"

well, yes.. kinda obvious... but i'm actually trying to "un-install" them.

is there a work-around for this?

You can try to use microsoft fix-it tools.

It is a good tools. But I'm not sure if it work in this situation.

and just as a side note: there is no need to uninstall maya 2014 to install 2015. they run well side by side!

You can try to remove the bonus tool script file from

Documents\maya\scripts.

Because by doing this, i have removed mine also.
