What has happened to my file?!?! Maya 2015 + 2013 issue

Can anyone please help me?

Ever since my file got messed up before a deadline I had last week my Maya had been terribly slow, so I thought I'd go and try out Maya 2015. The scene opened fine but 2015 didn't seem to support the AnimSchool Picker, so I went back to 2013 but then I got this error:

"Maya binary file parse error: : (12) bad root block"

So I went back to maya 2015 so i could maybe resave it but when opening it with 2015 i now get this error:

"Maya binary file parse error: : (16) bad size"

I really don't have time to start again -.-

Check the file size. If it is zero or 256kb it may have been corrupted during save and unfortunately can not be recovered.

try opening a new scene in Maya 2015 - goto File pulldown import your maya scene into the new scene.
You can try this with 2013 as well. If it imports just save it as a new file.....

I have already tried importing it, still no luck I'm afraid
