I am currently running Maya 2012 on Windows 8 64bit and noticed a memory leak and subsequent crash when adding custom icons to shelf buttons in the shelf editor.
Also, even when not crashing, maya will not remember when I rearrange my shelves, and keeps resetting to an older configuration upon restart.
