I'm using assets a lot and I've just moved to Maya 2014 a week ago. I've noticed the nodes insides an asset could not be load anymore (in the node editor), instead I got the asset node. It's really annoying ... I've you fixed that on SP1 ? At the moment I'm back to the old connection editor ... ;(
