Hello all. I've just had my 3D design class download MAYA 2014, and found out that the room I'm in only has 2013. Can I, and they, download 2013 under the educational licence after already downloading 2014? Also, any workarounds for opening 2014 files in 2013? Does the ASCII save thing work well, and what are the SNAFU's associated with that? Thanks!
Your class can probably upgrade to 2014 for way less then the cost to re-purchase 2014. Once you own the software you've made a giant step, subscription is the easy part 🙂
