Change tracker behaviour?

Hi, I have a very time consuming problem. Each time I hit track forward, the tracker doesn't simply start from the selected frame, it wants to fill in gaps in the track on previous frames. But im my case these gaps are there for a reason. Is there any way to force the tracker to only track from the selected frame?

Thanks in advance!

I was having the same problem, and setting an End or Begin key fixed the problem.    So you delete some tracking points in an area and it fills them back in when you track forward.  Right click on the frame that is causing you problems and set key< End which will cause that area to not track forward.  Or set key< Begin and that spot will not track back anymore.  Or you can shift click to highlight an area, in which case only the points in the highlighted area will be tracked.
