Its amazing that the learning edition wont let you "learn" certain aspects of the program. It wont let me save or load .fbx files. The tutorials that come with Learning Edition ask you to use the "File" menu from within Character Controls to do just that, but its greyed out. Nice of them to help in educating us.

You should see Autodesk's PLE's compared to Vue's, the Vue PLE is basically like the commerical version, except the renderings in Vue (you can always export to max), have a tiny watermark in the lower right-hand corner, and you can't use it for commercial use. I wonder how Microsoft's PLEs would look....
