Hi everyone,
This would be my first project that I try to use mocap for facial animation. I have the data (in .c3d format) from a kinect and is been aplied to a actor face in motionbuilder. The question is: Can i animate my character without creating morph shapes in 3D max or clusters in Maya? My character is in high poly and I don't want to go through all the traditional ways of creating the animation.
If I can't then what is the point of having a mocap? That means I will be limited to what my morph would look like.
