My work PC is running the XP 32 bit version of Inventor Publisher 2013. When I open the program and rotate a particular assembly, it has an annoying habit of presenting a 'choppy' rotation on the monitor. File size doesn't seem to matter. I should note that it doesn't do this all the time, but I can't figure out what could be causing it, and I would like to eliminate it entirely. I used a trial version on a computer workstation that is running Windows 7, and had the same problem.
What I need are some tips that the average consumer can do to optimize PCs running XP or 7 for Inventor Publisher, or is it really just all about the graphics card and memory? I have 3GB memory, but don't know what my video card is.
Thanks in advance for any responses!
UPDATE: I have found that when a part of the model has been highlighted, that is when the model rotation turns choppy. If I deselect the part, the model rotation is smooth and normal.
