Just out of curiosity, why would you want the date for the revision block to default to something other than when it was inserted? If you have it automatically set to whatever the current day is, then you'll be changing the date on it every time you open up the drawing. That doesn't make much sense.

The revision date comes from iProperties: Eng. Approved Date.

Can we have a setting in Application or Document options to pick which iProperty the Revision block grabs the Approved by and Date from? Not every company uses the Engineering signoff as the Rev block authority. This option should let you configure to use either one of the standard Status tab iprops or a custom iprop signoff and date.
