Why doesn't the size adjust properly?

Also, is there a better way to shrink sizes of text/annotations?  Perhaps a "scale annotations" option so that if I'm running something off on a size A (8.5 x 11) the dimensions aren't huge compared to what they need to be.

Or a selectable ratio, doesn't really matter.  But adjusting scale without digging through half the friggin' settings.

A selectable ratio sounds reasonable to me, but you may be making this harder on yourself than it has to be.  If you haven't already, you should probably consider creating a dimension style specifically for your smaller drawings.

You'd still have to change the tolerance text size manually in the setup of that style, but you'd only have to do so once instead of on every drawing you make smaller.
