Opening a file: "Open from Vault & Standard Open" Consistency

Finally decided I'd type this up after getting annoyed with it for the nth time this morning.

When I'm opening a file,

I tend to browse to the directory that I need in my workspace, occasionaly to find that the files I want to work with do not exist as working copies and i need to grab them from vault.

I then click open from vault and have to re navigate to the folder I was just at.

It would be GREAT if when clicking open from vault after navigating to a directory, the path would remain the same, but take you to the vault open interface!

I would expand this to cover other similar situations. For example:

Perform a save and replace on a component in an assembly requires navigating your directory structure to pick a save location. Then replace another component with the one you just did a save & replace on. You'll find yourself cast off into wherever you last used the replace command. It would be really nice if Inventor just dropped you wherever you last were in ANY file dialog.
