split tube and pipe run

I have a tube and pipe run that is getting quite complex. It would be helpful at this point if it had been drawn as 2 separate tube and pipe runs. Sadly we all have 20/20 hindsight.

It would be helpful with runs like these to be able to split them into separate tube and pipe runs.

I have had this on several occasions now that although I have managed to create the run and provide a suitable drawing it would have been simpler if I could have split the run into more manageable sections at some point. I have played around with visibility, but it just isn't as helpful as having the parts in a separate run file.

I ran into a situation a few months back where I had a factory assembly with a base pipe run in it.

Because you can only (at the present) create one base pipe run and the pipe run on the other configuration

in my factory needed a different one, I was not able to accomodate the second configuration with the pipe run I needed.

In fact on the second configuration it would turn the associativity to "OFF" which messed with the pipe runs as well.

I have posed this scenario to my VAR and they confirmed that what I was trying to do can't be done and they would be looking into this.  Seeing this was a couple of months ago I am assuming there is no way at the present to do this.

So thus....the reason for the idea!!!!
