Keep color of objects in a derived sketch

Keep color of objects in a derived sketch

If you change color in a big sketch to create an understandable skeleton sketch, you can't keep those colors when you derive the part containing the sketch. All the lines and objects take the dark "i'm constraint" color.

Unlike derived part, where we often want to override colors, colors are useful in skeleton derived sketch.

Can you change that behavior to stick to the derived part system which allows keeping object's color or not with a tick in a box?

Also very important for me. I don't understand the reason for this behaviour.

This is a very important topic because you sometimes also need to edit a 3D-scan or measurement to understand what you're looking at. Derive protects your original data so this should be an option.
