Interactive Model Browser

It would be a great aid if the model browser was to show the sub-level entitities automatically such that when the mouse pointer is moved over for eg. Revolution1 it opens instantly to reveal the sketch below, and like wise just one click on the sketch would be useful rather than right click and then select the sketch. To be of any value though the dialogue would need to update within say 0.5 seconds as a second or two is a long time to wait.

That behavior would drive me nuts.

As it is, the hover - expand behavior is incredibly annoying.  Frequently I'll be looking for something in the browser tree without thinking about where my mouse cursor currently is sitting, and then boom! something expands in the browser and I lose my place.  Then I have to move the mouse around in a crowded area to see where it was, then figure out what I hovered over, then collapse it ... and by then I've forgotten what I was looking for in the first place.

I know exactly what you mean, - it could be really annoying if not designed
correctly.

Expanding only 1 level, or just one line of browser text would be a
sensible solution, and indeed having the feature would be good, but equally
having the ability to switch it off would be equally useful !
