Add functionality to flat pattern a segment or helix (auger screw) so it can be output to DXF and cut by CNC cutter (or even to paper and cut by manual methods).
Can you please provide us with a sample graphic image of what you desire, or perhaps a sample part that you wish to conduct this operation on? Thanks in advance,
Dan, I have a model I can supply you. But how do I attach it? I can't see an Attachment button? If you can send me an email address I'll email it to you.
I am wholeheartedly in support of adding this functionality! The are subtle but important differences between pulling a flat piece into a helix and winding (coiling) a section into to a helix.
