HELIX FLAT PATTERN IN SHEET METAL ENVIRONMENT

Add functionality to flat pattern a segment or helix (auger screw) so it can be output to DXF and cut by CNC cutter (or even to paper and cut by manual methods).

Can we call this idea: Make Inventor capable of unfolding complex (double curved) geometries?

I am wholeheartedly in support of adding this functionality!  The are subtle but important differences between pulling a flat piece into a helix and winding (coiling) a section into to a helix.
