Dimension Style - Ignore Included Zeros for <1"

Dimension Style - Ignore Included Zeros for <1"

We have options for leading zeros, trailing zeros, and included zeros, but I think there should be one more option. Give us a toggle to turn off included zeros for all dimensions under 1". Leading zeros gives you the option of 0'-3" or 3", Trailing zeros gives you the option of 2'-0" or 2', Included zeros gives you the option of 4'-0 3/4" or 4'-3/4"... BUT right now included zeros will make 1/2" show up as 0 1/2", which is really an extra leading zero I don't care to see. Let's have an option to get rid of that extra zero while still allowing included zeros. The current workaround is having a second dimension style in your templates. That seems unnecessary complicated to me.

Three years later...bump. This issue still annoys me.

I want my dimension style to appear as:

  • 3'-0" (with trailing zero)
  • 2" (without leading zero)
  • 6'-0 1/2" (with included zero)
  • 7/8" (without leading or included zero)

Surely somebody out there also prefers this setup, as it is the standard way AutoCAD creates its dimensions.

Currently, in order to get my third item in the list, I have to check "included zeroes", but in doing so, it messes up my 4th item by adding a zero in the front. It is very inconvenient to manage two parallel styles in every drawing.

I'm with you schnautza. There's gotta be an update to make this work.
