Derived parts with decals

Not sure if 2013 does this but Inventor 2011 does not show the decals of base components on derived parts made from them.  Due to the pattern complexities of PCBs we put a decal of the metal and text on the top and bottom faces rather than extrude them.   When we derive them the decals are not honored.  We have to reapply the bitmaps to the derived part.
